OHM West:
A New Affordable Housing Option

Project Cornerstone is a capital campaign raising dollars to build OHM West. The 30-unit apartment structure will serve as stable housing for families completing the comprehensive program at Open House Ministries and provide access to ongoing support as families prepare to live on their own.

  • OHM West is a four-story 41,750 square-foot building comprised of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. Square footage ranges from 462 feet to 943 feet. Amenities include washers and dryers in each apartment and tenant storage units in the building basement.

  • OHM West features ground floor retail space for Secondhand Solutions Thrift Store and Wheel Deals Bicycle Shop. Both stores provide vocational training for Open House Ministries residents and add significant income for operations.

  • Located next to the Open House Ministries campus, OHM West families will have access to and full support of resources such as case management, education programs around financial stability, parenting, and weekly chapel. And an Open House Ministries case manager will check with families on a regular basis.

  • OHM West tenants will have an affordable base rent set at an amount that families will be able to maintain, building a solid rent history for future housing opportunities.

  • Shelter families transitioning into OHM West will open up more space for homeless families in Clark County.
